Spring of 2025, two esteemed colleagues became destined life partners. What started as friendly banter and longing glances during a team potluck, turned to the two young women being completely smitten with each other.

Mackenzie would seek every excuse to contact Lauren during the workday until she worked up the courage to ask for her number. The two have been inseparable ever since, both uncharacteristically attached to their phones. The texts in which they corresponded were short novels, taking each of them several minutes to write.

It was love from the very beginning and Mackenzie acted fast by inviting Lauren to a trip she had planned to Oregon she originally was going to take alone in July later that year. As the time passed from February to July, it became apparent to Mackenzie that she found her soulmate and began making preparations to ask Lauren to live life with her forever. Mackenzie obtained her grandmother’s engagement ring, and the intention was set into motion. On July 23rd, in the prestigious Ritz Carlton Hotel in Portland Oregon, Mackenzie asked Lauren to be her wife.
 

Since the engagement, Lauren and Mackenzie have been in the fast lane of life. They have purchased their first home and two additional pets, Rue and Murph, to join them and Villy in partaking in the most magical adventure of their lives.
